Nope. The targets are usually pretty generously sized. I usually end up around 10x for the 100 yard targets, maybe a little less at times if there's multiple targets at different distances.

shooting bulls yes, shooting NRL22 you'll run out of time searching for targets. Most of the guys that shoot at HHRP are at 6-12x for field of view. targets are steel, usually 3-6moa so magnification isn't necessary to hit but a good dope and consistent adjustments are. You could shoot it with irons if they can be quickly adjusted.
