    Having attended a human dynamics course by Force Science Institute, the study you presented is interesting. More time to process prevents the cell phone pointers from being shot, but enables the gun pointers to get a couple more rounds off at the officer. In the LA example, it sounds like 15-75 of those 211 shootings were cellphones, which means the majority were firearms. I guess other things could be included in that, but it doesn’t specify.
