NMLRA Spring shoot

Dates just announced for the big spring shoot 6/10-6/18. Excited to get back down there and patiently waiting for the rest of next years events on the calendar. I figured I could start a post now so people could see it soon enough and have time to make arrangements to get down there. Unsure if I will enter this one…. but I will be down there for a couple days. Being a newbie it is a little daunting at such a big event. I think I should dip my toes in elsewhere first.

You should absolutely shoot a couple matches. The experience is invaluable. The offhand rifle matches are fun, the primitive matches also, and the woods walk is a hoot!

I shot there for years.
It's fun .if you're shooting a match on the "line" you'll need a spotting scope w/a good tripod.
I honestly don't see how "new" shooters afford it. $ 50 just to register and aggregates are 20-30-40 bucks. Figure out your cost( dollar per record shot) before you go.
