I have been a small and big bore shooter most of my life. I never have done much with air equipment. However, it has started to fascinate me.

With a 22lr and 9mm pistol I shoot about 2" groups at 25 yards on my good days. This is 2 hand off hand.

I picked up a Beaman P3 and took it for a test run. After getting the beat up $30 red dot in the drawer set up I am shooting about 1.5" groups at 10 yards 2 hand off hand. See below. I can shoot about .75," maybe a little under, off a rest so the gun is better than me!

It is certainly not Olympic level but is a lot of fun. It is also a great addition to dryfire training.

Glad to hear you’re getting into airguns. I found that because it was easy for me shoot in my back yard, I shot more often and I became a better shooter. All that practice translates over to firearms basics as well.
