    Hi all,

I'll be moving to NWI (Schererville) soon and had a few questions about applying for an Indiana License to Carry once I move:

    - I've heard that the application asks for employer info + address. Do you need to provide this info, and does the ISP actually contact your employer?

    - For those who live/have lived in Schererville, what's the local application process like? Is it straightforward (just bringing in your fingerprint receipt/local payment), or are there more involved steps in the process like required appointments/interviews (as I've heard is the case for some places)?

-As of a few months ago I've read that the times from application to permit received in mail were running upwards of 90 days, is this still the case at this point? Is it still difficult to get fingerprint appointments as well?

    Thanks everyone!

    1) I put down my employer, and they never contacted them.

    2) Not completely sure there. Where I'm at it (Fishers) was schedule fingerprints online (they were done at The Mailing Station). Then they were submitted to ISP. I then just showed up to the police station, paid them, and then waited.

    3) No clue on current wait time...there is a thread about that.
