I would hope any bill of this sort would not pass the Senate. We are a little more than a month away to a Republican House, which will hopefully shut this craziness down. However RINOs will be RINOs and anything can happen.

They are trying to get it passed before the change in Congress.

Get ahold of Todd Young and tell him do not vote for more gun control. Tell him you are on to his leftist voting record.

Bidens handlers have found a good way to pump up the base and give big media ammunition to use against republicans by pushing stuff that they know won't pass constitutional muster.

Americans shoot each other a lot, and many among us believe it needs to be addressed.

Columbine set the mold: kill enough people and you will gain the attention and admiration of others, likely well after your own death. Live in anonymous despair, or die and receive unending remembrance. The choice is theirs to make…in a country full of poorly-secured firearms

The right says it isn’t the guns themselves, of course, it’s that the guns get into the wrong hands...and that sounds pretty solid, too… until someone asks how to define “the wrong hands” and how to keep guns out of them. There are plenty of good answers, but they speak to the real complexities inherent in the situation, which takes patience to explain, and an open mind to hear.

Meanwhile the left says “it’s the guns” and, when asked what action to take they respond with “take them away”.

From a messaging standpoint alone it is brutal in its effects: understandable, simply stated, repeatable, and forces the pro-gun side to play defense on a nuanced topic.

Personally, I think it’s a play for the loyalties of the youth caucus to keep their support following the student debt fiasco...and, just like the student debt relief scam, I think he’s making promises he knows he can’t keep, but hopes to pass the blame off onto republicans for opposing his “common sense” BS.

If they are going to do it, do it now. Then come around and pick them up. Let's get this **** rolling. They need to stop talking about it and get it done.
They have enough leftist Republicans to do it right now also. A slush fund in their off shore accounts probably helps their decision to vote against the constitution.

In 1994 there were a paltry 300K or so AR-15s, now there are tens of millions with every month hundreds of thousands more new AR-15s entire inventory.

For every AR-15 you guys own, just how many lowers do you have? Twice as many? Thrice as many? Some of you a dozen times more?

Everyone on INGO is aware of the stunning advancements in 3-D printing.

Some of you on INGO come from skilled trade backgrounds. Machining your own guns is like doing laundry or sweeping the floor, routine.

There were exactly ZERO federal prosecutions for the Clinton Ban from 1994-2004.

The proposed legislation is laughable, it's enforcement is futile and its passage may allow the USA to reach the Crete Line is that it causes more Americans to simply ignore the law and all other gun laws.

And precisely fits into the test for Heller. Tens of millions is most definitely "in common use".

    Fails all 3.
I wonder what he/they would say to somebody pointing that pesky fact out to them?

Probably just admit like immigration EO he passed tgat they knew it was not constitutional, but if they could break the law for just a couple weeks to get at least temporary relief for their base.

Do you think they care one whit about the Constitution?
