Need some help!
I've got a 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 that just ate a rebuilt ECM. I got this ECM from a "reputable" remanufacturer and installed it early last August. The first one didn't work and they sent me a second ECM. It had a "lifetime" warranty. The second ECM lasted just 50 weeks before it up and died. I called them and they sent me another ECM (the third one!!!) and it doesn't work either!!!! So back on the phone and they are sending me a fourth ECM!!!!! Needless to say, I am somewhat pissed off with them since the truck's been down since July 21!!!!!
So my question is, who has used ECM repair places and had good repairs done on their ECM's? I have a real nasty suspicion that whatever one they send me isn't going to last, or even if it's going to work at all.
Any ideas and or suggestions?
