Lots of validity stated here. Seems too me it's all mute points if Biden is sworn in (temporarily). I can see Dominion voting software being used extensively if they take the Senate. If that happens it will be a hell of one sided fight. Wasn't it during the Obama years that the Westpoint cadets were asked if they would fire on US citizens? I remember something along those lines.

Temporarily as in four years? Because Biden won the election, and he'll be the president starting at noon on January 20.

Elections are handled by the states. Get on phone with your state rep and tell them that we need to use paper ballots instead of the voting machines we've been using for years.

Don't think old Joe will be able to "discharge his duties" for 4 years.

Yes elections are handled by the states but I can't see them not getting in line when told to.

OK, then I misunderstood what you meant by "temporarily." No presidency is permanent, so when you said "temporarily," I figured you were talking about Republicans still trying to get the election result overturned even after inauguration. My bad.

It's funny to me: so many people think Biden is too old, yet I still see a lot of talk of Trump running again in 2024 when he'll be even older than Biden is now.

'Older than Biden' is a bit of an indistinct distinction. Trump turned 74 in June, Biden turns 78 tomorrow. If Trump ran again, he would only be 5 months older than Biden is now

Many think Biden is too old because of his obvious cognitive insufficiency right now, his brain seems to be pudding

Did I miss the certification and actual declaration, or are you just projecting your beliefs. I thought the Biden/Trump Wins thread were removed. Maybe we could knock off the who wins what until there is an actual winner.:dunno:

And then they abandoned universal reciprocity and hearing protection on a shriek.

And then Trump ordered Sessions to declare that bumpfire stocks "harness recoil energy" and were retroactively machine guns and retroactively illegal since 1986, thus destroying them all.

Thus setting the stage for President Bidet to declare any modern sporting rifle is "readily converted" and is therefore a machine gun and contraband. Because the precedent is now established that they can create any definition they want, and the courts have just shrugged and said, "Chevron deference."

And your blatant pretension that bump stocks are not relevant, even after that ruling, means you're not a 2A supporter, you're a FUDD.

OK. Even this slight shades of grey name calling is still.........just at the edge of being Civil.

If you guys can not get into being an adult and responding as such you will get the thread closed and members escorted of the playing field.

Slow down a step or you will loose some of these discussions.

    Please.

There is a lot of good information in these threads that I would hate to see disappear.
Be civil, practice tolerance towards the view points of your fellow members of the forum.

I will get a little bent out of shape at times and that makes me a bit grumpy/snarky when that happens. Guess the fact I don't post all that much helps people ignore me when I get that way. I think it is easier to let some things slide when they happen now and then instead of 4 or 5 times on every page. Any way I will give credit to the Mouse for calming things down and I for one am enjoying this and a couple other jepordized threads a lot more. Jim.

You are aware that "modern sporting rifles" were already subject to a ban in 1994, aren't you?

Biden doesn't need a pretense. He's helped ban them before, and he'll do it again. And Jeff Sessions will have nothing to do with it.

You sound like you need to brush up on your history.

He needed taken to school but I also feel obligated to point out that I was 21 when the AWB was passed and I am now 47, so he may well not be old enough to remember this.

Yup, MSR sales were banned. And it did NOTHING.

Trust the anti-gunners to forget to bring that up.

I am not sure I want to remind them of this. According to the FBI, more people are killed per year with bare hands and feet than with rifles of all description "assault" or otherwise. I don't want to give those cretins the idea to try cutting our hands and feet off!

I’m a few pages too late, but the head of the ATF didn’t say “Bump stocks are gone”, Trump did.

Both of you are right though. Obamacare put the repub majority in place, which didn’t allow any bans.
