    Dear Bryon:

Thank you for contacting me with regard to the 2020 presidential election. I appreciate your taking the time to inform me of your thoughts on this important issue.

In the weeks that followed the November 3rd election, President Donald J. Trump’s campaign filed numerous legal challenges, requesting recounts and disputing the constitutionality of the electoral process in certain states. After the Trump campaign exhausted its legal options and all states certified the final results, the Electoral College on December 14th cast its votes accordingly, with 232 votes for President Trump and 306 votes for former Vice President Joseph R. Biden, Jr.

The integrity of our elections – and the faith the American people have that their votes are fully and fairly counted – is a cornerstone of our democracy. I share the concerns of many Hoosiers about irregularities in how some states conducted the 2020 election. That is why I strongly supported the creation of an Electoral Commission to conduct a thorough and transparent emergency audit that would have helped restore the American people’s confidence in our electoral system. However, because Congress was unable to reach a bipartisan agreement to take such a commonsense step, on January 6th, 2021, I voted to formally object to certain electors from contested states in order to shine a light on these concerns. The objections were defeated in the House and Senate, and Congress formally certified the election results.

Another cornerstone of our democracy is the peaceful transfer of power. Like the more than 1.7 million of our fellow Hoosiers who voted for President Trump in November, I was disappointed in the outcome of the election, but we as Americans must follow the Constitution and support an orderly transition to the next administration. This peaceful transfer of power occurred on January 20th with the inauguration of President Biden.

The riots at the U.S. Capitol on January 6th marked a dark day in our nation’s history, but we are not ruled by violent mobs, and America is strong enough to endure attacks aimed at the heart of our democracy. Those who invaded the Capitol, assaulted members of law enforcement, and murdered a Capitol Police officer must be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law.

In the wake of this horrific attack, Congress should be entirely focused on uniting the American people and strengthening our country. That is why on January 13th I voted against H.Res. 24, because impeaching President Trump with less than a week left in his term did nothing to advance either of these goals.

I am grateful to President Trump and Vice President Mike Pence for their tireless efforts over the last four years to put the American people first and make our country stronger, safer, and more prosperous. As President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris take office, I pray for their success and America’s success. Our country faces many challenges, and the president has an opportunity to unite our fellow Americans by following the path of bipartisan cooperation and rejecting a radical agenda.

As your representative, I remain committed to working across the aisle to defeat coronavirus, rebuild our economy, strengthen our national security, and keep the American Dream alive for hardworking Hoosiers. No matter which party is in power, I will always fight for workers, families, veterans, small businesses, and farmers. I stand ready to work with President Biden and his administration toward common goals, and I will stand firmly against policies that would threaten our economic recovery, weaken our national security, or erode Americans’ constitutional rights.

Please know, there is no greater honor than serving the hardworking Hoosiers of Indiana’s 2nd District. If you would like updates on the actions I have taken in Congress, please visit my website at walorski.house.gov to sign up for my e-newsletter. Thank you again for contacting me.

Thank you for contacting my office regarding the results of the 2020 presidential election, and events that followed. I appreciate hearing from you about this important topic.

The riot that took place at the U.S. Capitol was totally unacceptable. It was a clear attack on our democracy that will not be tolerated. Those who rioted and threatened and killed police officers must be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law.

Along with the carnage and loss of life we saw that day, we also saw selflessness and heroism from the Capitol Police officers who stood down the mob to protect the Capitol. I join the millions of Americans praying for the families of Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick, who was killed by rioters, and Purdue-grad Officer Howard Liebengood who took his own life in the days following the attack. Our men and women in law enforcement stand before us on the line between order and chaos, and they need our support now more than ever.

An angry mob of anarchists are powerless in the face of two and a half centuries of American democracy, and on January 20, 2021 I was honored to attend Joe Biden’s inauguration ceremony alongside Vice President Mike Pence to participate in the peaceful transition of power.

However, it would be a disservice to all voters if we reflexively dismiss the concerns millions of Americans have with the integrity of the 2020 election and don’t make every effort to restore trust in our democratic institutions. The 2020 election was conducted unlike any other in our nation’s history. The COVID-19 pandemic caused many states to make unprecedented changes to their voting process resulting in millions of mail-in ballots being cast around the country with different standards verification, eligibility and bipartisan oversight from state to state. More importantly, many states made these changes through executive actions or court decisions and not through their respective State Legislatures as required by the Constitution.

Additionally, Congress must resist the calls for the federal government to take more control of elections and I will continue to encourage state legislatures to assert their constitutional duty to direct the manner in which they appoint electors for the Electoral College. State Legislatures should install safeguards to prevent changes in voting procedures that undermine the integrity and legitimacy of our elections during future national emergencies.

During my first two years in office I was proud to support polices that helped create record wage growth and new employment opportunities for countless Hoosiers, and I will continue to advocate on behalf of America’s forgotten men and women, and build on these accomplishments.

As a Main Street entrepreneur, my core conviction is to offer solutions on the issues that matter to Hoosiers. Although I was not happy with the results of the 2020 election, I am committed to working in good faith with President Biden to find solutions for America’s challenges and will speak out against policies I believe are not right for Indiana. I look forward to lending my experience as a Main Street entrepreneur to represent American workers and Hoosier families who have felt forgotten by Washington DC politicians.

It is an honor to serve as your U.S. Senator from Indiana. Please keep in touch with me on issues of concern to you. You can also follow me on Twitter or Facebook for real-time updates on my activities in the U.S. Senate. If I ever may be of service, please do not hesitate to contact me.

I'm sure you understand the cheating that took place in the last
presidential election. I've seen you speak to topics which shows me you study
the issues. Pretty much if we let the cheating that occurred in the last
election stand the republic is lost. Hopefully we can stop the worst case
scenario from occurring. This would take courage and bravery from several
senators one of which I hope would be you. These senators would stand to save
the republic and reject the fraudulent electors from the states where
cheating over road the legal votes of our fellow Americans. The House of
Representatives has several members ready to do their part. I hope the Senate
can follow their lead. Please encourage your fellow Senators to stand for

Do you really want to post your name and address here?
That was my first thought. Haha!

I don't see much issue with either of their letters. There remains zero evidence of election fraud and it was struck down every time it's been presented to the courts. What was your expectation for Representative Wolorski and Senator Mike Braun to say on the matter?

Keep repeating the lie. Zero evidence was presented in court. The courts swept it under the rug with the phantom legal theory of "standing" a get of dealing with it decision. The courts wanted the political to deal with it and the political wanted the courts to deal with it and neither did.

Americans got screwed, so stop the lies...

True, not one of the cases were ever even heard nor ruled on. There were no decisions handed down, they were all simply dismissed.

A real catch-22 too, no standing before the election since no party had yet been "harmed" and no standing after the election because "you filed too late" WTF?

I posted the courts also hid behind the "standing" position of sure, you have a general claim, but not a specific to you claim to dismiss many suits.

The courts said we the citizens cannot sue for election fraud.

Imagine a presidential candidate that couldn't draw 200 people to his rally's teamed up with a vice presidential candidate that dropped out of the presidential primary's early, receiving a USA election record number of votes. More than Barack, who was a super star in politics. com on man!

Are we seriously doing another "stolen election" thread?

So you are willing to say that you no longer question the results? That we need to accept that there may or may not have been enough fraud to change the outcome? That since the courts rule that no one had been impacted directly (standing) that no evidence would be reviewed? So no real investigation should be persued?

Kind of like a doctor saying "there may be a little cancer, but dont worry there is no reason to be concerned, move along".

All I want is to have proven that the elections were secure and I see no one providing CLEAR evidence of that.

Why did the courts throw out Trump's complaints? I thought it was more "procedural errors" than it was lack of facts. I don't believe the courts ever got to the facts because they weren't presented by the correct procedure.

At least we know not to waste our time again in the future. Election fraud on an international scale is simply too much for our nation to handle. Best to just ignore it and act like it never happened, I'm sure everything will be just fine, not to worry. Just look at all the freedom spewing from the newly established dictocracy, it's going to be magnificent.

IMO we did get screwed by the socialists in the election. My hope and expectation is that the GOP in the congress take every step in the next four years to see we do not have a repeat of this.

And make vote by mail very foolproof from fraud.

Reality, all they got from you is a tick in the box for "concerns over election fraud". Unless you're a big donor, you won't get much return on the effort. Contacting a representative these days is a waste of time.
