We (me, my wife, 3 kids) stopped by last night around 8p. We greatly enjoyed it! Good job! I liked it all, but the kids got a kick out of the "Boogie Woogie Choo Choo train,"

And you were right, that house as you enter the subdivision is done up well in a traditional sort of way.

    Thanks for the effort!

I like that song, but I keep telling myself to redo the light show for that one.
It's the one I 'cheated' on, and used a 'wizard' to do the light timing.

Glad you guys had a good time.

The wind storm damaged my manger. knocked the slats off one wall.
That's what I get for leaving it the way I bought it... cheaply built.
It was put together with staples.
This summer I'll have to put a screw in each piece, and replace the leather straps used as hinges.

Putting the manger up a couple days ago, and guess what I DIDN'T fix during the summer.

    Anyway.
    The light show is up.
There's a couple items not out, but I got sick, and now I don't feel like finishing it.
about 95 percent is up anyway

    Very cool!

I've thought about developing my own based on a raspberry pi but with the new controllers & software so readily and cheaply available it would not be a practical project.

I was going to design a system using PICs.
But, this system is a lot better.
    Easier to program
And if I break something, I can just buy another, instead of having to make one.
