I just joined up ... interesting lineup of supporting vendors. Similar topics of discussion, but no CZickos that I could identify. Started to share some of the more recent items being promoted by our group of miscreants ... first up was Fix it Sticks.
They do not have the freedoms we have as to topics of discussion.
Politics is neutered. No religion at least to the levels we enjoy.
    Still a great site.

I've thought about moving to Texas myself...

weather is warm year round, and the governor seems to be more in line with freedom.

My only hang up is I've heard private land ownership is basically everything out there. As little public land for hunting Indiana has, Texas has less. If you don't have land or know someone who does, hunting and shooting is difficult.

    Welcome to Texas!

I’m on TGT as SandHills but haven’t been active lately.

Wherever you’re living, make sure your AC works. Summer’s soon upon us.

Dont worry, I will be down soon to help take care of your feral hog problem soon enough.

That is the good thing about texas, it is a target rich environment.

There's opportunity if one is willing to work hard enough at it. Anything close to major metropolitan areas is going to get hammered if access is not limited. Small game is less difficult to find opportunities than larger game and hogs are easier than deer. In a lot of ways, the public land is better managed and the limited entry public land hunting is far superior to Indiana. The problem is that drawing a hunt can be tough so in order to be able to hunt every year you'd have to be willing to drive far enough to access non-draw public areas or secure a lease.

In TX hunting is largely a rich man's hobby.

I lived down there for 7 years. Liked it a lot but like the Midwest better.
