Am getting a late start getting my garage parked FJR 1300 ready for riding this year.

Replaced the air filter before starting it for the first time this year, and found a mouse had nested inside the air filter element.
The intake air comes from inside to out with this filter.

Luckily, the outside of the element is lined with screen, and it didn't chew into it, and it didn't make it out into the airbox or damage the air filter element, JUST left nesting material.

Had a piece of stiff 1/4" hardware cloth, so cut a piece of it and bent it around 3 sides of the intake horn and skipped the outside edge, so it wouldn't dig into the foam in the intake horn cover.

It was stiff enough it would've likely held on it's own, but looped a tie wrap into it and around just to be sure.
HOPEFULLY, this will keep the mice out.
