I don’t have any center fire Marlins but I do have a few 39As and 39Ms. The 39 is an extremely reliable and accurate rifle. I’m amazed how the price on the older ones like mine has been steadily increasing. The straight stocked Mounties are my favorites. My friend has Marlins in 30-30, 35 Remington and 444 Marlin. The 444 is a fun shooter, for a few rounds at least. I’d like to pick up a 35 Remington someday just to have.
