I just bought a used M&P 22, and I'm liking the feel, and the balance, just don't care for the magazine disconnect (never cared for that on any gun) But I can live with it, anyone else have one? Happy, sad? I've searched on here, but there seems to be no love, or posts, on the gun....

Before some other brands came out with polymer 22s it was my favorite. My only complaint is the trigger. Mine were always reliable though. Had compact and the full size ones.

Same. Still have mine, but it really only sees time when my son is in town. The TX-22 took all the range time I used to give the M&P 22 compact.

I have the compact version. Run it suppressed, and it is great. But like WebSnyper said, once I got the TX-22, I shoot it all the time now. Aging eyes and red dots vs irons, mainly.

Semi range report, no pictures.. Went to the range, and frankly, I love this gun! had 2 FTE, but ammo related.... It was fun to shoot, accurate (for my eyes) It is a keeper...

Have a relative that has a Compact model and it's basically just a P22 made to look like an M&P it runs well, even when suppressed

Good to hear the positives. I'm a M&P guy for sure, and I've been wanting to get a 22 version of it for a long time but it always seemed to come in second in what I would spend my money on at the moment.

I had problem with the rear sight on mine, could not get it zero at 25yds, rear sight would not lower enough ended up stripping the screw threads, bought a new site and sold it. replaced it with a baretta neos, now happy
