Of course I can find all of my headspace gauges except my 6.5 cm. I can order on Amazon, but I’d rather knock this project out today. Does anyone know of a shop in Indy that stocks 6.5 cm headspace gauges I can grab today? Tried calling around, I guess it’s not a common thing to carry go and nogo gauges!

I've used factory loaded ammo before as a go-gauge and a piece of cellophane tape on the shoulder as a no-go.

We load everything we shoot, so doing it that way isn't a problem.

Can you elaborate on this method? I've never heard of this before.
    You can Google it also.
I have seen on more than one occasion that a new piece of brass or a factory loaded round was used as a Go-Gauge.
For a No Go Gauge that same case got a piece of cellophane or masking tape added to the base of the brass and then carefully use it as a No Go Gauge. the type of tape used would depend on what clearance you want.
Cellophane is about 2 thou and painters tape is about 4 thou if I recall.
And again, there are plenty of videos online to see how its done. If one doesnt feel comfortable, pay a gunsmith to do it.
