I came so close to nabbing one when they popped up on Buds for a hot minute. Such a neat gun.

I've read some reports of scattered issues with these, but that's commonplace for pretty much anything Century touches. Mine has so far been solid, though I've only put a few hundred rounds through it. Launches spent cases like a V-2 rocket!

Sorry, no pictures but I picked up a Springfield (Stevens) 22, from my local gun shop.. It's a single shot bolt action. model #83. I think it as built from 1935 - 1939.

I haven't had a chance to try it out yet but I am very excited because it is similar the the 22 that my grandad used to let me shoot. (occassionally, no wasting ammo back then!)

I am the only one in my family that is excited, the rest just think that I am a crazy old man. :)

    Remington
Remington 700 in .243. Badger Ordinance bolt handle, Surefire SOCOM brake, but factory barreled action, (other than Trigger Tech single stage) and it's a very accurate rifle with 95gn Winchester Deer Season. (between .25" and .75") Scope is the Nikon M-Tactical .308, a 30mm tube 4-16 side focus scope with their "BDC 800" reticule. Doesn't line up with the .243 ballistics, but using their APP where you can put in exact load data, it's supposed to be accurate. It has been so far, but of course only at a static range, as that's the only place I've shot it so far. Planning to take it afield with the rangefinder for further testing... Chassis is KRG Bravo, with an Atlas Bipod. No, a .243 doesn't need a brake... that's to mount a can. (that's still in ATF jail)
