I’d like to get some money back from the .gov, they seem to want me to give’em more. I’m about fed up with it.

It's been a while since I have had one of those refunds myself.

Yep. They either are poor planners and are getting that interest free loan money and want to buy a shiny, or they have an unexpected tax bill and need to sell something to pay it.

I just send the quarterly payments and hope I don't owe a lot when I file

Yep. That’s what the wife does. When we get the taxes back from the accountant they let us know our final number. Some years it’s bad other years it’s really bad.

I've never seen one but my wife told me we got a few small ones in the past. I guess she intercepted them cause I never saw any of it!

I used to be close, owe some to the state, get some from the feds. Pretty much zero out. The last 2 years I have been owing money. I may have to see about going to zero exemptions on my pay. Taxation is theft.
