Could layer some Conditional Access on top of the forum software to pop the MFA prompt based on URLs being accessed, (if the forum software itself won't do it natively), but that costs.

In any case, I got a quick response when I had someone checked by Texkev before doing an online deal, and I agree MFA is the way to go.

Yep, it's called conditional access. That said, SMS is weak MFA, but better than none (somewhat)

Yes. Not best, but still a reasonable hurdle for all but the most sensitive access.
