A quick question about engraving location. Does the engraving have to be on the receiver or can it be on the trigger guard?

If the trigger guard is removable, no. You can also do it on the barrel.

Has anyone used Armor-Hyde Technologies - Louisville, KY? I would prefer not to drive to Indy to get my lower engraved if I don't have to.

Indy Laser Engraving will be at the August 1500. They can and will laser engrave almost anything you bring to them. They have their FFL and are capable to do NFA as well as anything else. If you have a special graphic you need engraved email Wendall at Indylaserengrave@gmail.com or text him at (317) 437-6640 so you can get him the file ahead of time. This will speed everything up for him and you. I personally have had him engrave multiple items with zero problems.

Met Wendall with Indy Laser Engraving at his home today where he engraved my Benelli M4 on the 45 degree portion around the area where you load the shells - a bit precarious to set up but it turned out beautifully. Very satisfied.

Wendall is the only engraver that I will let touch my guns. He does great work and has served this country as LEO and govt contractor.

Agreed. Plus he has his FFL so he is well within the confines of the law. Many other engravers don't have their FFL and are putting your items at risk via the BATFE.

Add High Velocity Manufacturing in Fort Wayne to the list. They'll do it for $25 - CNC engraved, not laser. They're a full FFL, SOT. Great guys!

I couldn't be happier with what ZR Tactical did for my SBR. They turned it around the next day and Zach was very conscientious about the quality/color and best place to perform the engraving.

I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
