So after much hand wringing and debate I decided to sell my like-new Sig Subcompact. I love the gun, but honestly I'm a polymer guy. It just doesn't fit with my other platforms, and I can't justify keeping it as a safe queen.
I've had the gun for almost a year now. I live in Indianapolis near the MCFG range. I haven't had it officially weighed, but the trigger is about 4.5lbs. I'm guessing that because it feels close to my 4.5lb triggers on my other guns....only crisp haha. It has less than 300 rounds through it. Like a lot of 1911s it had two hang ups within the first 100 rounds, but after I ran another 100 through it there were no issues. Since then I've only shot it intermittenly to verify I've been doing my dry practice correctly. I babied the gun because I couldn't bring myself to beat on a 1911 during training. Anyway the recoil on such a short gun is shockingly low, esp considering I run 230 JHP through it, and the groupings are quite tight.
If you want a quality concealment gun that is as slim as a 1911, has a manual safety (right hand only), tritium night sights, rosewood handle, is a breeze to take apart and clean, and carries 7+1 rounds, you really can't beat this gun.
With it you'll get 4 mags, the Sig case, instructions, gun lock, etc, Plus 15rds (2 mags + 1 in the chamber) of SPEER Gold Dot .45 230 grain, JHPs so you can carry it home ready to rock. (I know that ammo feeds just fine through the gun)
I'm willing to drive a decent distance to meet you and off load the gun to a good owner.
The gun normally goes for over 1,000$ SIG 1911 ULTRA COMPACT, 45, 2-TONE, SLITE, SAO
The 2 extra (on top of the 2 factory mags) mags go for 30+$ a peice.
SPEER Gold Dot goes for over a 1$ a peice so you're talking about 15$ there.
So that's a 1075+$ value, for
950$
Make me an offer.
SOLD!!!!!! Thanks so much to r3126 for a great trade!!
