Rifle functions great and I’ve rung steel plates all day with it, only issues is a small chip out of the hand guard, and some scratches on the finish but you’ll have that with a 70 year old military rifle. As far as I can tell it’s matching, but don’t know enough to discern if it is or not, regardless it functions and the finish is pretty good
