As many know, I have been helping people learn how to handle firearms and shoot safely first, (having taken many first timers to the range), how to think 'safely' when it comes to developing situational awareness skills and having a personal defense mindset. After several suggestions from friends, along with some encouragement from the wife, I went out and obtained my USCCA's Instructor Certificate along with several additional Certificates. to teach their basic training courses and I'm going to get started training others with the programs that the USCCA offers.

    Training Courses to include...
~ Introduction to Basic Handgun and Firearms Safety
    ~ Developing Situational Awareness Skills
~ Legal Considerations of Concealed Carry
~ Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals
~ Woman's Concealed Carry and Personal Defense Fundamentals
~ Stopping the Mass Shooter Threat
    ~ AR for Home Defense
    ~ Shotgun for Home Defense
    ~ Shooting Fundamentals I & II
~ Real Estate Agent Safety Awareness
    ~ College Student Awareness
    ~ Emergency First Aid
~ SABRE - Civilian Pepper Spray Course
    Along with many others...

Taught a Situational Awareness Course today...it went well!
Students were engaged, conversed frequently, and said they learned a lot about surveying their surroundings and why Seconds are Critical in spotting and identifying potential threats and how to take steps to avoid conflict, first, if possible.
They also learned about the Four (4) Color Codes of Awareness and why being in 'White' is not safe!
