So, If NJ doesn't walk away from this, their argument is that nothing in Federal Law permits any interference with State laws?

Maybe I hope they win. (?) Manufacturers and wholesalers, incl. ammunition, can cut them off - including their LE departments (wouldn't want a gun/cartridge they made/sold to get accidentally dropped and kill someone, right?). Then, the voters can decide if this is what they want.

Meanwhile, since Fed can't interfere with State, then all the free states can go full-auto, grenades, howitzers, whatever they want, right?
Do these people ever think about the blade cutting in the reverse direction?

"If it's grown in CA, and smoked in CA, the Fed's have no authority!" = "If the suppressor is made in TX, and stays in TX, then the Fed's have no authority"

They have no hope of getting a Federal Court to agree that Federal Law doesn't have teeth in NJ.

SCOTUS already shut down the former in Gonzales v. Raich, and circuit courts have quashed the latter, citing Raich. So I don't think NJ will have a leg to stand on if that's their argument.

The idiots that govern NJ could care less about the Bruen decision or the Constitution. They have proven this time and time again. It is amazing that a Federal Judge saw through their BS and issued an injunction.

From the first read I thought "Wait, this isn't about Gun Control - this is a grab for money." The nuisance angle is just the ruse while they put their hand in someone's pocket.

Storing the toxic waste from NY isn't a nuisance, 'cause someone's getting paid. Vagrants pooping in the alley and panhandling isn't a nuisance, 'cause they'll have to let go of some of that money to deal with it. Follow the money and all will be revealed.

Different song, always the same dance.

It is honestly so messed up the way in which the united states cherry picks which industries it will treat with grace and favor over the legal taxpaying industries it chooses to ostracize. I always think of the way that the airline industry is pampered and allowed to take full advantage of people and the way that the tobacco industry has been completely beaten into submission in terms of its capacity to advertise. Everyone knows that tobacco is unhealthy but it is so un-American to treat an industry such a way in a supposedly free market. The pharmaceutical industry is another ridiculous example.
