From the link to the bill..
"“The problem: There’s no requirement for a background check on ammunition sales. So you can be someone who just stole a gun, illegally got your gun from some kind of trafficking or were in possession of it and you are intending a crime. You can walk into any store and buy the bullets and nobody is going to check."

Someone can also also take a SUV to any gas station and buy fuel without a background check. Then proceed to run over dozens and kill 6.

How many bills proposed like this are named after a person? I’m assuming there are some others out there but the only person named legality thing that comes to my mind is roe vs wade. This OP is using my name so I’m just thinking out loud here :blahblah:
Roe was a legal case not a bill. They put people's names on bills like that to garner emotional support

It's the only kind of support they care about--they already know there's no logic to be had with **** bills like this.

Over the years I've seen this over and over again. Leadership focusing on the sword rather than the hand that wields it. Which is more powerful, which is responsible?

The idiots that push these measures have no sense of reality. If a bad guy wants to get ammo he will find a way to get it legally or more likely illegally. What background check will prevent the illegal “underground” purchase by a criminal? None!
