Looking like I'm gonna have to take a drive to drop off what I've gotten. Still no boxes at the stores I frequent. Was in menards yesterday as well. Still no box

I was in the Westfield/Carmel Menards earlier, no Toys for Tots boxes...but there was a sign in the toy section that they are taking toy donations for Open Doors of Westfield.

Like last year, we will be using the Amazon link

So, this makes me wonder if this is a corporate thing, or if it's left up to the local management if they support a charity, and which one(s).

I always assumed it was a corporate thing practiced by all Menards.
    Obviously I was wrong.

I always thought it was corporate also. The last couple years this store hasn't had the boxes by the exit. I wonder if they have been helping the local charity all this time.

I dropped a toy off yesterday at the Menards in Greenwood. I know the one in Camby also has a box. Usually the boxes are by the exit.

I didn't have anything I needed at Menards, so I just went in the exit, dropped off the toy and left. Easy.

    One last bump.
Thanks to everyone who made donations.
I believe there is still time to drop a toy in a box, but they will be gone soon.
Monetary donations to the Toys for Tots website are accepted all year I believe.

Much like the Rolling Stones "final tour", here is the final bump part deux.
I asked today and Menards told me that the collection boxes will be out until December 16th.
Still have a little more time.

I'm just doing the cash donation this year *bump. I haven't made time to do this, but I figured a larger pool of cash, in a non disposable environment, may spread out the love in under served areas.
