    .
If Millwrights lose an average of 3 fingers per accident,
And Electricians lose an average of 1 finger per accident,

    those two vary by degree.
    Just like unemployment.

Those are scary statistics Act. While I nearly lost one finger in a work accident, docs were able to save it.

Fortunatly the cost of wood around my house won't go up much. It is getting harder to gather as I get older, someday I'll probably trade hunting rights for firewood workers.

    Well, they were made up.
I think when I hired in, I actually started counting missing parts.
I can't remember Productions numbers, but I do remember it was a non-zero number.
Right off the top of my head, one guy had his foot too far forward, got caught when a machine traveled, caught his foot against a railing stanchion, too the toes off.
There were others, that one comes to mind.

But in maintenance... we were at something like 10 percent missing something.
    A finger
    A toe
So, safety meetings were always interesting.
If you narrowed it down to millwrights, the percentage skyrocketed.

Pete The Planner does his regular good job of characterizing how The Great Resignation effects the economy, along with a rundown of his forecast of how the stockmarket will fall in the coming months...

Do we think this might be a little bit of a problem?

Could be. I'm not panicking yet, although I lost the equivalent of a pretty nice car over the last few days. You have to temper that with a longer view, though. I'm still up well over 25% for the year across the board, some less, some a lot more. Ford's pullback was painful, but it just puts it back where it was about 3 months ago and still up over 100% over the past year. I've been nervous for a few years, TBH, or I'd have gained and lost more.
