I need to broaden my searches. SD Bullion has silver Krugerands for $29.51 ea. Better than Provident.
Just tried to set up an account with them, but apparently there's a problem with their website. Every time I enter a password, it doesn't recognize it and says I haven't entered one. :n00b:

Tried to order as a guest and it's only allowing me to add 2 to my cart.

Well poop. 10 bucks shipping kinda negates the sale price. Guess I'll have to pass, but at least I know about the site now. Thanks snorko! :)

Well they are sold out now. Provident, SD Bullion, JM Bullion and APMEX are the most popular sites I think. I try to scope them all out once in a while.

During the dip this morning I got a couple of 100 Korona Austrians from Guidance Corporation. I would not recommend them due to price and charging shipping, but at least they had stock, and it wasn't horribly high. No one else had them for less than $1800+. Provident, JM, silver.com and others all had them priced for less, but they don't have any, and haven't for a while. Lower prices don't help if you don't have any stock.

All the local coin shop had was two gold $5 collector coins. They had no other gold of any kind.

I also dipped back into the market on the dip. Ordered a couple more of the 250 gram (8.0375 oz) sovereign coins from Provident. Price waqs around $28.30/oz which was cheaper than any other silver on the site including 100 oz bars. Glad I ordered them first thing, they are sold out now.

I just ordered 10 of these from Gainesville just now. $27.93/oz., $29.05/oz. with shipping. The last 10 I ordered were $31.32/oz. after shipping.

APMEX kinda ticked me off. I'd had an order for some .925% sterling bars and rounds. Ordered on 3/8 and it was supposed to ship on 3/23, and my check had already cleared my bank. Checked the status yesterday and it said "Canceled". Never got any kind of notification or anything, so I called them today and they said it was because of an inventory issue, but the lack of email was an "oversight" on someone's part. Now I just have to wait for them to either mail me a check or do an ACH deposit to my account.

Not a good sign that no one has inventory. Even big names like Provident and JM have no British sovereigns at all. Even when they had nothing else they still had those. Not anymore.

    Damn that's some B.S.

(It baffles me that spot is still so low...especially with inventories constantly running dry lately)

Just checked Provident and they have what appears to be decent inventory. Queens Beasts, Maple Leafs, Eagles, silver Krugerands, etc.

Yeah, those rounds I bought last night aren't scheduled to ship until the later part of April.
For the last few orders I placed with Provident I received shipping notice 5-6 days after the order. hits my PO Box about 4 days after that.

I've been really happy with Provident so far.
