Hell, I don't even know what that means. I hit delete all. And it did. This was yesterday. I took more pictures since then.

I viewed the pictures off the card rather that saving the pictures.

    ??? Help. lol

see if you can get to them by going to your "recent documents".

This has worked for me for other files, maybe it'll work in this case.

I'm sure a computer wizard will be along shortly to help.

eeerrrrrrr..... did you view them on the computer or the camera?

If you took more since then chances are they were overwritten and
erased from existence. If on the pc they might be in your trashcan. :dunno:

If you took more pictures after deleting them, then most likely they're over-written.

What was so important that you'd accidentally delete them without noticing with enough time to spare to recover them?

    Hm.

    The plot does not thicken.
    End of the road.

Just a night out with some friends. A drunken night. A fun night. I don't get many "nights out" so I REALLY want those dang pictures. ugh.

I guess it's just an excuse to go out with my people again. BOOOOO to technology. I should have taken a 35 mm camera instead.

Chances are, yes, if they have not been overwritten (like by taking other pictures using that card in your camera). When files are deleted, or the card reformatted on most cameras, the pics are still there until overwritten - just like on a hard drive. On a hard drive, you can delete the files, reformat the drive, even repartition it and still get the files back with the proper tools. I've done it.

Bottom line: Some of the programs that recover deleted files from hard drives will also support/work with mounted memory cards (like those in a card reader attached to your computer). It's been a while, so I can't point to a particular product, but they do exist. So yes, it's possible. In fact, it's probable. If you haven't used the card since you deleted the pics, I'd be surprised if you couldn't get them back.

Just don't take any more pictures using that card until you try a recovery tool. On some cards you can flip a little write-protect switch to make sure it doesn't happen (which I recommend doing) until then.

    Good luck.
