I can hear the sewing machines of INGO firing up already. :)

So ive heard that in the dark you dont want to wear all black because you'll be darker than the night (have no clue if thats true) wonder how this material would be
I see it in the video but its not great quality so cant tell
Im never going to make my own ir camo suit but just curious

I would think that motion against a background would be the killer no matter how you were dressed. As long as you weren't moving, and particularly if no one was looking for you, you'd probably pull it off. :dunno:

The IR aspect is what I thought was cool. The fabric is so black that it absorbs all but 0.25% of invisible light too. You'd still stand out on thermal, but standard issue security cameras aren't thermal. Never know when you might want to take a stroll through the surveillance state without being surveilled.

*I'm not gonna build one either. :)

Looks like something that would have to be constantly washed or brushed. Interesting concept though.

Depends if we're talking about thermal or night vision. Different materials behave differently under IR light.
Blocking thermal signature is a very different ballgame.

Just use those hats with ir leds in the brim to make your face a hotspot of light thus obscuring your face. They've been using them in the UK for years
