I get the feeling that this will be the focus of Mr. Garland's tenure as AG, which is too bad as a lot of stuff will likely be overlooked that the justice department should be working on. Day to day federal crime won't take a vacation just because investigations big media is interested in are going on at the same time.

Sadly I think the fences and troops are here to stay, if nothing else the capitol riot was American leadership's Matias Rust moment.
