We had 2 very special recipes the Everclear was the star ingredient. The simple one comes to mind. The more extravagant one eludes me. Go figure.I get a headache just thinking about the old Everclear parties. I'm sure we had fun, just can't remember.

Is one a New Orleans Hand Grenade? We had 2 very special recipes the Everclear was the star ingredient. The simple one comes to mind. The more extravagant one eludes me. Go figure.
I was talking to two of my officers tonight about Purple Passion. Neither of them had ever heard of it. I bought some at the liquor store across from my house several years ago, just to reminisce. You need another load of grape soda so you can make a huge batch of "purple drank"!
No buut I would bet the mix is close. Is one a New Orleans Hand Grenade?
This thread isn’t what I thought.
We had parties where the drink for the evening was called Guiana killer punch you brought whatever booze you wanted and it got dumped in a large container. I vaguely remember those parties
You would be correct with the name but we renamed it.In college back in the early 80's we called that a Hairy Buffalo. And the large container was usually the kitchen sink lined with a garbage bag
woohoo!!!Only 3 midnight left...
And only 10 calendar days.
Sounds a lot like the **** we used to call “Hairy Buffalo” and drink during frat parties. No buut I would bet the mix is close.
The simple one is 2 liters of cherry 7-up a bag of ice and a 5th of everclear in a punch bowl. The lady’s loved it. It tasted great. It kicked your ass.
LOL I should’ve read the whole thread before responding to churchmouse! In college back in the early 80's we called that a Hairy Buffalo. And the large container was usually the kitchen sink lined with a garbage bag
Congrats! I still have about 10 years if I am lucky. Seems like a long way off at this point.Last midnight (Thursday morning) was my LAST MIDNIGHT shift.
When I was a new guy, an old timer told me, keep coming in that gate day after day. Soon, you'll look back and wonder where the time went.Congrats! I still have about 10 years if I am lucky. Seems like a long way off at this point.
