I've always suspected what our .gov was up to (wasn't called the deep state then but the same). Back in the day (1992) I actually voted for Ross Perot due to the spiraling deficit and wars even back then.

I can still remember the TV images of him with his alligator claw pointer and economic graphs and his thick Texan accent.

I voted Trump precisely because he was an outsider much like Perot and I am always trying to get away from the two party system which is now all but impossible. Now it seems we're down to one party.

    Inauguration bare minimum requirements?

It seems like only two people need to show up, the President elect and the Chief Justice. Take the oath at noon and Boom! we have a new President. The whole thing could be done in a Men’s restroom in one of the many secure buildings in DC. Say the Oath while washing your hands for 20 seconds instead of singing Happy Birthday to stop the COVID. Broadcast a video if all his “enthusiastic” voters want to watch.

So why is the expense and drama of an empty National Mall in DC and no citizens allowed in attendance necessary? If there is real fear as indicated by this huge security charade just move the ceremony inside and meet the bare minimum requirements of the Constitution and be done with it.

Of course it’s only money and it’s not even theirs. I was going to say it’s the taxpayer’s money but mostly now we’re just using Monopoly money coming off the printing press as fast as they can get the ink to dry.
They're making lemonade. They're taking an inaugural that few people, who don't have to, will be enthusiastic to attend, and instead of having to explain why a guy that the software says got 80 million votes has so little enthusiasm for him they can blame it on the right wing and the need for security

The CNN stringer that was videoed indide the capitol saying 'we did it', do you think she was merely excited about getting into the capitol building or was her mission more sinister? Was what 'we' did the incitement of protestors to breach the capitol to enable the crackdown they had already planned? The only part of the whole thing that seemed real was the pants-wetting fear of the legislators when they thought the petition for redress might be a little too up close and personal

Sounds like they want to "cleanse" the military to pave the way for the socialist coup.
This is what they did in Iraq that created the insurgency. They disbanded everyone that belonged to one sect (I can’t remember which) because they weren’t the preferred sect for the rebuilding of Iraq.

those who know history are doomed to watch those who don’t repeat it.

These National Guardsmen that don't pass the libtard vetting process - are they just taken out of the DC show or are they kicked out of the military entirely?
Looks like they may get the boot for good. Making a bunch of people with military training and combat experience jobless and stripping benefits (potentially) what could go wrong?

(Yes I know the source is far from neutral but I have seen the same comment from the general all over Twitter, this was just the first one google popped up)

I would not be surprised to see the larger police departments doing similar purges. Back in the old days I suppose it was comfortable hearing police officers on here saying they wouldn't obey orders to go door to door confiscating guns. During the riots as police were thrown under the bus, and people demanded to defund police, a lot of those kinds of cops quit. I think the world being proposed is one where dissent against the establishment just isn't allowed. And tomorrows police force won't have as many of those 2A supporting cops.

Would not really be surprised. The first requirement of a police state is police loyal to the state.

the first step to an insurgency is to create a group of military aged and trained males that feel persecuted enough to strike out at the government with an open attack.

A real attack that actually causes mass casualties or massive damage. I’m well aware the media is trying to frame January 6 as this.

Edit: disclaimer for mods and LEO this post is not in support of an insurgency simple an post in an academic discussion on the mis steps a government might that unintentionally fuel violence and division
