Federally, yes. Illinois law is a mystery to me.Illinois resident, can I buy a single shot rifle in Indiana?
I used to buy at Fetla's. And the place northwest of there.
I'm not sure how things work anymore.
I've heard a lot of places just won't sell to Illinois residents anymore.
Can't say I blame them
Thanks
There's a dealer with a .444 Marlin CVA Scout V2.It’s been a long time since I worked behind a gun counter but 10 years ago we could sell long guns to Illinois residents. Had to record foid, 24 hour (now 72 I think) wait still applied etc. Couldn’t sell anything they couldn’t possess in their state/county. Had to abide by the Illinois rules for that person. Things change though. I’d wait for a response from someone currently in the workspace. Or call a gun dealer near the state line for info.
Good luck. I hope they have some good news for you. Illinois residency never makes anything 2a easyThere's a dealer with a .444 Marlin CVA Scout V2.
I'll give them a call as soon as I feel good enough.
That sounds a little ridiculous. But when I'm run down, it's not a good time to do business.
I can't blame anybody for not doing business with Illinois, any Illinois business or anyone from Illinois - except me. LoLAcademy just doesn't sell any long guns to Illinois, just because it's not worth the effort...
