got mine yesterday. Went on a bit of a shopping spree for the wife. She deserves some nice things for being the angel stuck with me. I am headed to a local animal shelter manned by some great people and a few vets and asking them what they need in honor of a friends service dog, bruno who just passed from cancer. If I have anything left over I'll be saving it for an ak or 1911.

Got mine today. Half of it was distributed to my 4 kids to help them create an emergency fund. The other half got chambered in 5.56, paid off 2 small credit cards, and the rest put in savings.

I was hoping to get a 1911. But like the last payment the incompetent IRS can't figure out how to send money to the same account they did the first time. I had to claim #2 as a credit on my 2020 taxes, so I'll have to do the same with #3.

Did I mention the IRS is incompetent?

I assume you're like me: "privileged" looks an awful lot like "working your *** off". Perhaps ironically, I know many family members who are not so "privileged" and are getting a check for thousands of dollars from the government for sitting on their ***es.
Well, these days I am sitting on my ass a lot. I just get paid well to do it. :lmfao:

    How much am I getting?
You tell us. :dunno: Depends on how much you made in 2019 if you haven't filed your taxes yet, or how much you made in 2020 if you have. If you made less than $75K, then $1400. If you made between $75K and $80K, it will be prorated. If you made more than $80K, you get zero. Double those amounts if married and filing jointly.

Mine showed up unexpectedly. I am not sure why. Apparently they are still counting the wife in there.
