Is bow fishing a thing? :dunno:
Or is it just archery over a pound, in a bikini.
    Either way I'm not complaining.
It is definetly a thing. Here it is done at night on boat following shoreline. Always been - but more so since adoption of LED lighting on them - a major pain for residents as the extremely bright lights reflect on the water and then thru windows of homes. It is literally blinding to those inside at times. Upside is elimination of a lot of unwanted trash fish.

Definitely a thing. I arrowed this on Energy Lake down by LBL, KY. Just like you said, after sundown, along the shore, bright lights down towards the water. We would see all kinds of wildlife on the shore since it was fairly lit up.

That Flathead was around 60 lbs. If I had turned it in, my name would still be in the record books.

But I didn't hurt it bad and we decided to release it.

See...bow fishers in real life are not nearly as hot as this thread might lead one to think.

I think that is Brooke Thomas but not positive - definitely a look alike. Anyhow if that is Brooke Thomas, she has been fishing her whole life and, no doubt, fishes and bow fishes a whole lot more than any of us.
