    I wish I had the tools and patience to do fine wood-craft like that. I can do stuff, and my uncle has the tools that I can use when I visit home, but I just don't have the tools accessible to me it great amount of time. I'd love to make some fine looking items for around the house (my wife really wants a nice jewelry box).

    And I just cut up a really beautiful Osage orange log for firewood that would have made some really fine looking furniture. I did save a few smaller pieces for hand carving etc. I think I may seal the ends and let them dry out for a year or so then I'll try my hand at carving.

    Beautiful. I have an idea to make a wall-mounted cabinet in my closet, it will be nothing this nice though. I was just going to lag-bolt it to the studs, inset the door and make it all out of 2x10 boards
