I'll be using Speer 75gr Gold Dots so refrigerators stoves even some walls, and doors will be a none factor.

The biggest revolver I care enough to practice with would probably be 357 mag.
50 has a lot of the 'cool' factor. It seems though that it's a luxury for quieter times...

Have exactly what you are building in same 556 with Romeo 5 and light. It is very easy to handle and accurate.

I was hesitant to try a gun mounted light but I found this in the garage. I didn't want to spend a lot of money until I could try one out. Is 60 watt normally what you guys use?

I have a .50AE
I would never even consider using it as a in the house defense gun. You would most likely loose you hearing. And the concussion is brutal. And thats not as powerful as a 500S&W. It makes a great club though.

Not really worried about over penetration Not much more than good handgun hollow points.
