SOLD
$500 (includes $325 in accessories)
or:
$475 w/o gun case
Henry Golden Boy .22 S/L/LR (Octagon Barrel), lever action
M.S.R. Price: $578.00, and the rifle only, can be bought locally new for $420 - $490 +tax, and new on Gunbroker for $450 (+shipping, taxes & FFL fees).
Great used condition, with the usual few very light scratches: however, it still looks tremendous.
I bought this from a member and know it's history since new, which is one of the reasons I bought it.
The Henry has been completely cleaned.
Previous owner added these upgrades:
- Tourbon cheek rest ($40)
- Warne 200M low rings ($40)
- Leupold VX Freedom 2-7x33 Rimfire scope #174179 ($180)
- Henry factory scope mount ($35)
I bought a $30 hard gun case for it. (you can buy it w/o gun case for $475)
Total accessories: $325
- Original parts that come with it included: rear sight, custom made rear peep insert and a Williams front red fiber optic sight (factory front brass bead currently installed)
Previous owner did ammo testing and found CCI SV to be capable of a 0.5" group at 50 yards, so the rifle is definitely a shooter.
I will include his targets to buyer if desired.
I also found out I didn't prefer a lever action for my target shooting like my bolt action or semi-automatic, which is why I'm selling.

I bought the Golden Boy as a fun alternative to my Ruger 10/22 Mannlicher, but the Henry just wasn't a fit for me.
It happens sometimes with a gun.
I live in Wanamaker (SE Indy outside of E465).
Must have IN license.
Previous owner's range pic.
My range pics while adjusting scope down from 50 yards to the 50 feet I had available.
Not as good of eyes as the previous owner.
You can tell where I dialed the wrong direction on the scope.
