Not an all weather, but my LGS has this Marlin

Bite bullet had one in stock but I put my name on a list for a henry...went back later to check on the marlin and it was sold as soon as I left the store...they haven't seen one since and that was 9 months ago

Man I can't believe what they are asking for new lever guns.
I got one of the later Remington Marlin 1895's in .45-70 and gave just over $500 for it new.
It's not stainless, or a laminated stock, and it came without glass.
Still, it's a well made firearm that shoots to point of aim.
I like blued steel and walnut stocks anyway.

Local dealer did have a 45-70 govt hardened case henry with no rail on top or side gate...wanted $1100 for it. I was tempted if I knew I could put a scope on it. It was an octagon barrel

Marlin says “Now shipping with limited availability”

If you want to pay the price. This is the cheapest I found

EDIT: Found this one on GB a little more reasonable.

I have shot the Henry and the older Marlin (Remington) SBL. I ended up buying the Marlin and I am not sorry for the decision. It is short, handy, fast, and accurate. Good luck, if you decide to wait on the Henry. The Marlin is a good alternative though.
