I'll tell you what, phones today take pretty damn good pics. It doesn't seem to be the phone's fault.

I drink far too much Mt. Dew to even hold a phone steady enough to get a quality shot. LOL. I use a Nikon D7200 on a tripod triggered by a wireless remote so I don't even have to touch the camera.

Yeah, this is definitely a learning process. Perhaps I will spend more time with it when I retire in 5 years.

Well, I suppose that's a little better. Just used ambient light coming from window. And, had to block light coming in directly on it.
Yeah, I think there is only so much you can do without the right environment & software.

Picked up a Springfield Hellcat OSP a few weeks ago
It's giving me options because of holsters & magazines over the Glock 43X, M&P Shield 2.0 & Ruger SP101
I have several more, but they are thicker & heavier
Picked up a 15 round magazine & ordered two 11 round magazines, one with a flush fit floor plate & another with the thumb rest which gives me one of each length & profile, also signed up for Springfield Armory's "Gear Up" package to receive Three FREE magazines & a range bag for new handguns bought between July 1st & August 31st, 2022
Ordered a IWB Holster from "We The People" which should be here this week or next cut for optics

It sure is...
It has to compete with the Glock 43X & M&P Shield + Upcoming SIG P365XL
Will be hard to carry a bit wider & heavier handgun, only due to ammo capacity
The Hellcat weighs less unloaded than all of them
My Glock 43X was the best investment so far as a carry gun I have ever made @ $350 with Ameriglo night sights
The M&P Shield 2.0 cost me $250 Pre-Pandemic
Hellcat OSP cost was $372.90
I have a Romeo Zero red dot coming for the Hellcat, cost me $80 on the SigForum "As New"
I will have to shorten the M4 screws by around .050" with the grinder or use the metal shroud that makes it stand a bit taller on the slide & co-witness not as good
This will be my 1st red dot sighted handgun & the SIG P365XL will we the 2nd
Need to thin the heard & may use the classifieds here @ INGO to do so
I sold a Heckler & Koch last week & went through so much BS shipping it etc. & really don't want to go through that hassle ever again
I have S&W, Hk, SIG & a few others I need to let go because they don't get used even at the range because of ammo cost
Getting ridiculous what folks want for handguns & ammo lately, I have to search high & low to find deals

Carry Every Day every time you leave the house

Can't wait to get a good holster made exactly for the Springfield Hellcat aka HS Produkt from Croatia, cut for optics
It may become my #1 Carry, Time will tell

.....bought one these Tisas 1911's for our pre WW1 shoots. Haven't handled one of these for close to 40 years. Had to take it apart and reassemble it a few times to get comfortable with it. Not as easy with old arthritic hands, lol! It's a cheap pistol but for something I will use once or twice a year. It'll do. Unless anyone besides our group in the Indy-Bloomington-Columbus area does military shoots?
