This is my most recently bought P229. It dates to somewhere around 1997. It’s a .40 but is currently running a spare 9mm slide. New parts are on order to shorten the reset but that and the new grips it has is about all I‘ll do with this one.

I run a leupold dpp on mine. Not my favorite but seems to be the most common with the p duo mounting and sights.

I put a Holosun 507c/vulcan that I has sitting in a drawer on for now. Not sure what I will settle with. I am going to change the safety out to something that doesn't murder my thumb joint (lefty). Probably a Wilson bulletproof like on my sole lonely 1911.

Nice. I'm a fan of the 507 holosuns as you can guess. I have in total 4 on various pistols. They just are a good system. How do you like the sti? I'm not loving the staccato p2 as much as the more competition ones like the dvc 3gun and omni. Seems like they made them more duty carry oriented and less precision competition like.

So far the painful safety is the only thing I don't like. I actually got it because the company became more duty oriented. It may become my EDC. So far I only have 296 rounds through it as most of my ammo is going through my Walther Q5 as I prepare for a Bianchi cup match in May.

East German Zella-Mehlis 1001-0 in 7.65 Browning / .32 ACP (almost a Walther PP).
This gun has very interesting history.
I love the crude original wood grips.
It's rigged look tells a lot about who made it.
