It's pretty cool to have a part of history, but dear lord is this pistol designed horribly! Safety that it looks like you need to rotate 180* to get from fire to safe, and then the trigger guard? Jeez I don't even know if I'd be able to fit my pinky in there

Here's the P226 I got yesterday in trade for my PT1911. The gun has all the factory action work done to it, and night sights to boot. I <3 it. (Also my nifty new INGO hat is shown!)

For now... I'll get that damned 19 off you somehow, someday. >.>

(Saw a KILLER model 10 @ the 1500, good price too, just had no funds.)

Just kiddin ya man. I'm 1st in line though. I saw a sweet Model 10 6" marked down to $300 but I think the muzzle was messed up. He had a nice 2.5" Nickle 10 also for $425. He said he'd sell em both to me for $650. That muzzle scared me. Bought a sweet Colt Trooper 2" .357 from my friend yesterday.

Yeah, the safety rotates 180 degrees AND has to be manipulated with your non-shooting hand. The trigger guard isn't quite so small, but an enlarged trigger guard was adopted in 1939. The 8mm Nambu round isn't the greatest perfomer either...I guess it's somewhere between the .380 and the 9mm. Still, it's a natural pointing handgun and fits nicely in my hand.

If I can ever find some 8mm Nambu I'll know what it shoots like. :D
