I have to wonder, high level sports take a tremendous amount of focus and concentration, how much of that was lost with the political stunts? What could have been gained with the whole country supporting the team? With interviews focused on the competition, not politics? It is hard elite in two things at once...

To be fair, back when I did watch the games, there were several fairly attractive girls on the team. Megan the rappin’ ho wasn’t one of them, but that’s beside the point.
