Typical; "Let's study the symptoms and not the root cause". Of course there's more money and power in treating symptoms, imagine the lost income if they cured cancer, the common cold, gun violence, etc.?

Y'all act like this is something new. The IPD Wellness Program wrap up questionnaire began asking if you had guns in your home in the early 90s. Guns in the home were a public health risk, they said. How about the one on my belt, I said.

Criminals who do not respect human life are THE public health threat, not guns. When will the stupid politicians learn this fact of life?
In the Chicago area street gangs work for the democrats to get out the vote. Things will never change as long as that is happening. Jim.

    In the country, hopefully.
Well, that's voters' fault. We should sweep all this anti-constitutional usurpation and abuse of power away:
You won’t find many here that would disagree.
Many would love to “sweep it away”.
Since that was written in ‘15, has much progress been made? Anything come of your complaint?
Many on here have given up hope on the idea that voting will change anything, but we certainly can’t agree what the path forward should look like.

Voting probably won’t change much if anything. Right now, it’s the only option we have that we’re going to talk about here though. The other one is an option, but it’s a bad one, and past success does not in any way guarantee future victory…. Nor does it even insinuate that our current citizenry provides people wise enough to create anew what our Founders and Framers did in the late 1700s. The new 2A would probably be more weasel words than substance, and that’s only looking at the gun issue. Nor can we exclude the Left from the process… unless they are no longer to be considered Americans.

Voting is perhaps symbolic except in cases such as Hillary being so bad a “right turn signal” would have beaten her. But like so much in our great country today, even if it’s poorly executed as compared to the Founders’ intent…. It’s still the best system the world has yet seen.

    Blessings,
    Bill
