Gun Trust Notary

Good evening all,

Just got a gun trust so I can start the process of buying a silencer, but I understand I need to get this trust notarized. Do you guys know of anyone in the Hamilton County area that's familiar with notarizing this kind of thing? I realize a notary is a notary but you have folks out there that, unfortunately, want nothing to do with firearms related paperwork.

Any info is appreciated.

Just use your bank or UPS. I did mine at the UPS in Brownsburg. If you are worried about someone getting excited, come to Avon or Brownsburg where people are typically more gun friendly to get it done. Just say I need this trust notarized. Nobody will care that it is a NFA trust. If you do find a snowflake notary, just go somewhere else.

Not all UPS stores have notaries, but you can call ahead and ask for the notary hours.

I had someone at Chase Bank notarized mine. I have accounts there so it was free.

They do not need to read the document. The contents of the doc are none of their business.

The notary's job is to validate who signed on the signature page, nothing more.
