I have a Marlin 336 that’s been used as a farm gun. I’m looking to try and restore it using electrolysis and refinishing the wood. I was wanting to know if anyone had any tips or tricks. Thanks.

I have used electrolysis on several pieces of cast iron cookware but never on a gun. Some great videos on the old youtube that show how to setup an E tank.

I've seen a little on this. the stuff i read people said make sure you oil the metal after your done. They complained that if you didn't it would rust. I haven't done it myself but that's what I heard.
