Thanks for putting together such a great group buy! Will you be doing another one in the near future, or would it be possible to get one of these HAM radios still? The UV-5R looks really interesting as well, but your package is put together much better IMHO.

I'm not sure if another group buy for the UV-3R will be done. Looks like NWI at this point is satisified with what they have in terms of radios. I could possibly see a smaller one occuring for the UV-5R radios down the road by some of us that are getting more into "HAM radio". I have not looked fully at the UV-5R radio yet and at least in my future I would like a more powerful mobile radio but think that I might just upgrade to one of the 3 major brands and skip the chinese ones. The chinese radios from my understanding are good cheap starter radios to get your feet wet but are not as rugged as the 3 major brands.

Now with all that said I do have 2 UNPAID radios still at this point. 1 blue & 1 black. Both have been put on hold for a member that advised he will buy them and his deadline to pay is 02 MAR 2012. If I don't have money from said member by that point you are welcomed to one or both of them.

Cost is $50.40 for radio + USB program cable.
If I need to ship to you its $5.15 for the shipping.

Should I add you to the list of potential buyers?

Anyway, I'm the "other member" that is selling his HAM radio. I bought mine in the group buy and it is still new in the box with all the stuff that came with the buy. (Nothing wrong with the radio but I'm going in a different direction.)
