But not locally. They can't stand getting scooped, so the truth will get out that way. Look around the country and you see that all the time. This is quite distressing. I rarely go there, but hate to see this sort of thing in the place I live.

Police: Armed bystander shot and killed Greenwood Park Mall shooter in just 15 seconds

Those killed are 56-year-old Pedro Pineda, his wife 37-year-old Rosa Mirian Rivera de Pineda and 30-year-old Victor Gomez.

...GREENWOOD, Ind. — Police are investigating a shooting at Greenwood Park Mall that happened around 6 p.m. Sunday.
Four people are dead and two others wounded in the shooting. Police tell 13News the shooter is among those dead.
Greenwood Chief James Ison said two others were wounded in the shooting and are being treated at area hospitals.

Ison said a good Samaritan witnessed the shooting and shot and killed the shooter. The shooter is only identified as an adult male at this time.
People inside the mall at the time of the shooting told 13News reporter Logan Gay that they heard 20 gunshots in the food court. IMPD said it appears shots were only fired in the food court area.

Yeah, our Preacher announced the shooting right after we were dismissed when one of our members/ Johnson county sheriff deputies told him.

We are local.

Seemed crazy that it wasn’t more dead.

Had a sneaking suspicion someone might have fired at the shooter.

I imagine 10%+ of folks walking the halls are breaking Simon Property’s Gun Free Zone Laws.
