Why are they not churches?

A real church is a set apart body of believers who’s goal is to spread the gospel, baptize converts, and teach and preach the Bible.

These “churches” left the mandates of the Great Commission long ago.

You know, I left the church over 15 years ago because I read Sam Harris and Richard Dawkins and Carl Sagan and thought religion was just worthless regressive superstition.

Now I understand that excessive fixation on the mortal turns people into sneering communist busybodies with no community and no values, so I start thinking "you know maybe I was wrong to judge the church so harshly, maybe they have better values than I thought and I should take another look at the church ".

I’d say less than 1% of the assemblies out there that call themselves churches are actually churches.

Plus the last generation of church prior to Christ’s return was called lukewarm, making Christ want to vomit them out of his mouth.

He actually calls for them to be cleaned, washed, to put on clothing etc.

All symbolizing their lost status.

Meaning most members/attendees/those that profess Christ are not actually Christians in the last age.
