Leupold freedom AR 30mm is very nice. I have the older version VX-R and it is awesome. I had a Strike Eagle and sold it to get another Leupold.

Really depends on what a few others have asked.

    1. What is your budget?
    2. What is your intended purpose?
    3. What is the max distance you could be shooting?

Heres a few options for different budget ranges....

    Budget:
Id say maybe the vortex strike eagle 1-8

    Mid line:
Trijicon accupoint 1-8 (ffp), vortex razor gen 2 1-6 (sfp),

    No ceiling:
New vortex razor 1-10, nightforce nx8

I have the 1x8 but if I had it to do over again would get a 1x4. Nowhere to shoot that I need that type of magnification. Unless you are going prairie dog hunting where you have to be a far distance in order to pick them off without spooking them or willing to travel to a place like Bass N Bucks.. Many or maybe most long distance ranges require a training class or screening to make sure you are sighted in and skilled enough to use their longer ranges.
